Hi! I’m dr. Kayzim Suárez reyes.

I have 15 years of experience as a psychologist, and I also have ADHD! I understand all-too-well how being neurodivergent can interfere with daily life. I love helping people figure out the cause of their symptoms and how to feel more in control. In my practice, I value empathy, inclusivity, authenticity, acceptance, kindness, and transparency.

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

    • Through CBT, we’ll identify automatic negative thoughts that hinder our goals. I want to help you get better at detecting detrimental thoughts and reframing them into more self-serving ones that help you reach life goals.

  • Diagnostics

    • Through a diagnostics process of thorough questioning and standardized measures, we understand your symptoms, the best course of action, and a treatment plan.

My approach to therapy

  • As a neurodivergent person myself, I’ve learned to work with my ADHD and even use it as a superpower! I know how tough this can be, and I love to help people improve their lives by figuring out the root of their symptoms and shifting perspectives.

  • So what if we think differently? Being different is an incredible asset. Analyzing how our thoughts influence our emotions and behaviors can certainly help us feel happier and in control.

  • Results from therapy are not instant - you can’t ‘Amazon Prime’ hard work! But with guided support and diligence, you can sustainably and positively impact your thinking patterns.
